• organization and staff management;
• organization of training for prosecutors and office personnel;
• conducting, in cooperation with higher rank units, inspections, surveys and analyses of criminal proceedings as well other forms of activity of regional prosecutor’s offices;
• complaints and motions;
• reporting and statistics;
• public relations;
• public statements;

• official supervision of investigations and enquiries conducted in regional prosecutor’s offices;
• administrative supervision of means of appeal recognized by higher rank prosecutor’s offices;

DEPARTMENT OF COURT PROCEEDINGS
Key tasks:
• participation of prosecutors in District Court proceedings in criminal, civil, labor, social security and economic cases as well as other forms of offence;
• supervision of the participation of the prosecutors of regional prosecutor’s offices in court proceedings;
• participation of prosecutors in administrative proceedings in front of administrative courts as well as in other forms of proceedings;
• participation of prosecutors in enforcement and pardon proceedings.

VII BUDGET AND ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT
( IT. AND ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT The tasks of the Department include:)
Major tasks of the Department include a variety of issues connected with the execution of the budget of the District Prosecutor’s Office and its subordinate units, and in particular:
• finance and accountancy;
• public tenders;
• administration; • social benefits and welfare.
Income, expenditure and cost as well as all financial operations of the District Prosecutor’s Office and its subordinate units are specified in the Ledger, detailed record and auxiliary accounts section.

IT. AND ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT The tasks of the Department include:
• execution of tasks related to the administration of IT data by the District Prosecutor; • coordination of the implementation of national and local IT systems in the District Prosecutor’s Office;
• maintenance of access points to the National Center of Criminal Information and National Center of Criminal Record;
• provision of technical support to IT technology used in criminal proceedings;
• monitoring the security of IT systems and personal information data in district and regional prosecutor’s offices;
• conducting criminal analysis;
• IT training;
• maintenance of the District Prosecutor’s Office website
• maintenance of the PR bulletin;
• execution of other tasks connected with implementation of new IT systems in prosecutor’s offices.

X Independent Division for the Protection of Confidential Information The tasks of the Division include:
• protection of produced, processed, transmitted and stored confidential information;
• protection of IT systems and networks;
• enforcement of the regulations on the security of confidential information;
• confidential information security training;
• information protection.

The tasks of the Division include:
• Analysis of management and control systems used by the District Prosecutor’s Office and its subordinate Regional Prosecutor’s offices, including the finance, economic efficiency as well as compliance with relevant legal regulations;
• Offering advice, including submission of proposals whose aim is to improve the efficiency of the District Prosecutor’s Office as well as Zielona Góra Regional Prosecutor’s Offices.

The tasks of the Division include:
• drafting and upgrading documents executed in relation to operational planning;
• drafting and execution of annual Defence Objectives Plans;
• planning end executions of the supervision of key defence tasks by subordianate Regional Prosecutor’s Offices.
